Médiacité, run by the company Gesmall, a subsidiary of the group Wilhelm & Co, has been organising a drive-in cinema for several years now. The coronavirus crisis hasn’t had much of an impact on visitors to the open-air cinema in the cité ardente. On the contrary, it has contributed to a resurgence of interest in drive-in cinemas in Belgium. The shopping centre in the heart of Liège, with its bold architecture, has always been a pioneer when it comes to offering innovative entertainment and consumer experiences.
